GEORGE LYNCH: Final Summer Tour Dates Announced

June 6, 2005

Legendary guitarist George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB) will be heading out on a short summer tour starting Friday, June 17 in Lancaster, California. Lynch will be playing all the familiar hits from his beginnings in DOKKEN to his solo project LYNCH MOB.

Lynch is regarded by the guitar-playing community to be one of the best guitarists of all time. Lynch's concerts deliver what the fans have been waiting for: the sound of big guitars.

"Many lifetimes ago I listened to, became inspired by and emulated blues-based rock music," stated Lynch in a press release. "Now, over 30 years later, I've have come full circle and rediscovered a passion for this genre of music and have reincorporated it back into my music, not that it ever really left."

Upcoming George Lynch tour dates:

Jun. 17 - Lancaster, CA @ Mr. Cues
Jun. 18 - Lake Forest, CA @ Diablo's
Jun. 25 - Sacramento, CA @ The Boardwalk
Jun. 26 - Concord, CA @ Bourbon Street
Jun. 28 - Portland, OR @ Sabala's
Jun. 29 - Seattle, WA @ The Fenix Underground
Jun. 30 - Spokane, WA @ Fat Tuesdays
Jul. 01 - Boise, ID @ The Bouquet
Jul. 02 - Alcova, WY @ Sunset Grill

As previously reported, Lynch is hard at work designing his Randall signature amp. The hand-wired version will be unvieled in Indianapols in July 2005 at the summer NAMM. George will also be unveiling his new ESP Brahma super V guitar that he has designed and is building with master Luthier John Gaudesi. Powering the super V will be George's new Seymour Duncan Screamin Demon V pickup. Also, check out the Lynch Time Machine Boost, which is being buit by Robert Keelley and being played by such notables as Pete Anderson, Billy Gibbons, as well as George.

George has been writing and recording at his studio in California along with longtime friend Mike Frowin and engineer Mike Tacci. A new all-original album should be ready by this summer.
